About Michael
Michael Weeks is a historian with a passion for the road. He has driven tens of thousands of miles across America in search of the living roots of U.S. history. He formerly served on the boards of the Civil War Round Table of Chicago and the Camp Douglas Restoration Foundation. Michael lives in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, with his wife Charlotte. Although he is the author of a comprehensive road trip guide, ironically, Michael does not own a car.
